Here is a detailed description of how we spent our time at Singapore and Malaysia, having the time of our life... Day 1 - Musthafa Shopping Mall and City Square Mall -  We were rather tired since we had barely got any sleep. We set out to find lunch at Little India and went to Saravana Bhavan. After this we walked to Musthafa center which was just a stone's throw away. We spent a good 2 hours buying nothing :) First impressions about Singapore: Yash : 'Are we there yet? Wow! Amazing! Love the bubble tea dad..... When are we going here... there... everywhere.....' Me : 'We finally made it here, how's it gonna turn out? I hope we all have a good time' Vickram: 'What a beautiful city! The welcoming high rises of Singapore We spent the Christmas of 2013 at Singapore. We were on a holiday there for 5 days, before we moved on to Malaysia. We have been very clear since the beginning that we would not settle for a school that did not match our ideologies. Also, Yash is an early reader (was able to read by 4) and that kinda made us believe that he was a little genius ;) Now, we did not want to quash this genius in the bud by enrolling him to a school that doubled up as a factory of kids rattling off the text books that they mugged up. Exactly what I did not want for Yash! Thankfully, me and my husband Vickram, both were of the same belief, making it easier to convince the rest of the world that we were seeking alternative education for our son. Since we are living in south of Bangalore, the choices were limited to The Valley School, Shibhumi and CFL. We were more comfortable with The Valley School for various reasons including but not limited to
